Marriage Notes:
ROMANTIC MARRIAGE AT CARDIFF.
Mr. R. Vivian Cory, Cardiff, second son of Alderman Richard Cory, Cardiff, has just married under romantic circumstances, Miss Evelyn Maude Thus, a young lady of Norwegian parentage, and a pupil teacher at one of the Cardiff Board Schools. Her father, who is now at sea, is Captain Thus, the master of one of the steamers of Messrs. Cory Brothers and Co. It seems to have been a love match—arranged and carried out without the countenance of the respective families. It took place at the registrar's office by special licence. The bridegroom is 23 years of age, the bride 16, and looks younger, and is of exceedingly prepossessing appearance.
