In 1891 John V. White, aged 29, born in Madron Cornwall, wholesale fruit merchant, and wife Eliza R. White, aged 32, born in Gulval Cornwall, were living in Edgbaston, Kings Norton, Warwickshire. With them were daughter Lilian (3) of Birmingham, Warwickshire, and sisters-in-law Johanna J. Lawrey (55) of Gulval, married, and Mary H. Fox? (53) of Gulval, widow, living on own means.

In 1901 John V. White, aged 40, born in Madron, wholesale fruit merchant, and wife Eliza R. White, aged 49, born in Gulval, were living at 239 Moseley Rd., Aston, St. Albans, Birmingham. With them were daughters (born in Birmingham) Lilian (13) and Muriel (9).

With him were daughter Lilian White (33y 9m), home duties, visitors Nora Rowe, Muriel Beachell* (29y 7m), and Reginald Paul Beachell (40y 9m) of Rawcliffe West Riding Yorks.
