In 1841 John Vivian, aged about 25, born in the county, and wife Mary Vivian, aged about 25, born in the county, were living in Gernick, Crowan, Cornwall. With them were daughters Ann (3) and Mary Ann (1).
In 1851 John Vivian, aged 35, born in Camborne Cornwall, lead miner, and wife Mary Vivian, aged 36, born in Crowan, were living in Factory, Menheniot, Cornwall. With them were children Mary A. (10) of Camborne, scholar, John Nott [sic] (8) of Crowan, scholar, Francis (6) of St. Just, Eliza (2) of Menheniot.
