In 1836 Eliza, as one of the children of Charles Vincent, was a beneficiary of her father's will, receiving 5 shillings.
In 1841 Eliza Pearce, aged about 30, born in the county, pauper, was living in Carnkye, Illogan, Cornwall. With her were children Jane Pearce (8), Elizabeth Pearce (6), Charles Pearce (4) and Abraham Pearce (2).
In 1851 Eliza Pearce, aged 39, born in Redruth Cornwall, widow, attends the markets, was living in Cock's Court, Redruth. With her were children (born in Illogan) Jane Pearce (18), works at copper mine, Eliza Pearce (17), works at copper mine, Charles Pearce (14), works at copper mine, and Abraham Pearce (12), at home.
In 1861 Eliza Hambly, aged 48, born in Illogan, widow, charwoman, was in Hockings Court, Redruth. With her were 'son-in-law' Edward Hambly* (12) of Redruth, mine labourer, and 'daughter-in-law' Mary Hambly* (10) of Redruth, scholar.
* i.e. children of William Hambly's first marriage to Mary Jeffery.

Eliza married her 7th cousin Simon Pearce, son of John Pearce and Anna Carpenter, on 6 Oct 1832 in Illogan, Cornwall. (Simon Pearce was born on 22 Oct 1809 in Illogan, Cornwall, christened 5 Nov 1809 in Illogan, Cornwall and was buried on 29 Sep 1840 in Illogan, Cornwall, aged 31 years.)
