The funeral took place at All Saints' churchyard, Tuckingmill, on Saturday, of Mr. Richard Arthur Rowe, eldest son of the late Mr. Richard Henry Rowe and Mrs. Rowe, of 15, Edward-street, Tuckingmill. The vicar (Rev. J. J. Haworth) officiated. The mourners were: Messrs. H. Rowe (brother), W. Rowe, John Rowe, P. Collins, and C. Friggens (uncles), Messrs. J. Davies, J. Pearce, L. Jenkin, Masters M. Friggens, and M. Collins (cousins).
Others present included Messrs. C. G. Vincent, Sanders, J. Jenkin, G. Jenkin, W. Gilbert, T. Smith, L. Smith, C. Reece, R. Pascoe, and J. Easterbrook.
The bearers were members of the church. The coffin was of elm and the breastplate bore the inscription: "Richard Arthur Rowe, died Aug. 30th, 1927, aged 27 years." ....
