With him were sisters Lavinia Dunsten (64) of Camborne, widow, living on own means, and Mary J. Smith (39) of Camborne, single, living on own means, and nephew Josiah A. V. Rowe (18) of Camborne, mechanical engineer.

In 1911 Charles Ford Smith, aged 45, born in Camborne, single, mechanical engineer, was living in Trewlawny Rd., Camborne. With him were sisters Lavinia Prince Dunstan, widow, and Mary Jane Smith, single.

In October 1934 Charles Ford Smith, retired mining engineer, was granted Probate of the estate of his late sister Mary Jane Smith.

In the 1939 Register Charles F Smith (b. 5 May 1865), single, retired mining engineer, was living at 5 Trelawney Road Camborne.
