In 1851 Mary Pearce, aged 20, born in St. Austell Cornwall, and husband John Pearce, aged 27, born in St. Agnes Cornwall, master watch maker, were living in Fore Street North Side St. Austell. With them was son Frederick Crapp (6m) of St. Austell.

In 1861 Mary Pearce, aged 30, born in St. Austell, and husband John Pearce, aged 37, born in St. Agnes, jeweller, were living in Fore Street St. Austell. With them was son Frederick Crapp (10) of St. Austell, scholar.

In 1871 Mary Pearce, aged 41, born in St. Austell, and husband John Pearce, aged 47, born in St. Agnes, retired jeweller, were living at 36 Bodmin Rd. Austell. With them were son Frederick (20) of St. Austell, medical pupil, visitor Richard Parson (21) of St. Austell, articled clerk, landowner, and servant Maria Richards (18) of St. Austell.

In 1881 Mary Pearce, aged 50, born in St. Austell, and husband John Pearce (57) of St. Agnes, retired jeweller, were living in Bodmin Road Sedgemoor Villa St. Austell. Present were son Frederick C. (30) of St. Austell, surgeon's medical assistant, servant Elizabeth Minear (19) of St. Blazey.
