SICK VISITOR FOR INSURANCE FIRM
After an illness lasting 16 years, the death has occurred of Miss Annie Prideaux, aged 85, who resided with her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. John Robson, latterly at 12, Cresswell-avenue, Taunton, and formerly at Park Holly, Camborne.
Miss Prideaux was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Prideaux, of Bosahan Villa, Troon, and until retirement in 1937 was a sick visitor for the Prudential Assurance Co.
She had been associated with St. John's Methodist Church, Troon, all her life, and was a Sunday-school teacher. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. M. L. Gundry, in Chicago.
The Rev. J. A. Goodman officiated at the funeral service at St. John's Church on Thursday, and Mr. R. Thomas was the organist.
Mourners were Mesdames E. R. Maycock and N. Robson (nieces), M. L. Bawden (great-niece), E. Corye, E. M. Rule, A. Brunet, W. Bealey and M. M. Chinn (cousins), Messrs. E. Andrew and J. Robson (nephews), P. Crocker and J. Sims (cousins)....
