FUNERAL OF MISS EMILY NETTLE.—The funeral of Miss Emily Nettle, daughter of Mr. W. G. Nettle, of the Parade, took place on Monday at the cemetery in Barn-street, and was very largely attended by the leading inhabitants of the borough. The principal mourners were Mr. W. G. Nettle, Mr. W. Nettle, Rev. W. A. Prideaux, Stonehouse ; Messrs. John Trewren, Liskeard ; J. P. Mutton, Penzance ; Trood, Linkinhorne ; Trood, Launceston ; and Trood, Saltash. The funeral rites were performed by the Rev. G. E. Polkinhorne and the Rev. J. W. Brewer, Wesleyan ministers. Miss Nettle was held in high esteem ; she had been a member of the Wesleyan Society for a number of years. A painful affliction, borne with Christian fortitude, had laid her aside for some years.
