FUNERAL OF MISS EMILY NETTLE.—The funeral of Miss Emily Nettle, daughter of Mr. W. G. Nettle, of the Parade, took place on Monday at the cemetery in Barn-street, and was very largely attended by the leading inhabitants of the borough. The principal mourners were Mr. W. G. Nettle, Mr. W. Nettle, Rev. W. A. Prideaux, Stonehouse ; Messrs. John Trewren, Liskeard ; J. P. Mutton, Penzance ; Trood, Linkinhorne ; Trood, Launceston ; and Trood, Saltash. The funeral rites were performed by the Rev. G. E. Polkinhorne and the Rev. J. W. Brewer, Wesleyan ministers. Miss Nettle was held in high esteem ; she had been a member of the Wesleyan Society for a number of years. A painful affliction, borne with Christian fortitude, had laid her aside for some years.

The Will of Emily Nettle late of Liskeard in the county of Cornwall, spinster, who died 21 September 1887 at Liskeard, was proved 14 October at Bodmin by William Nettle of Liskeard, surgeon, the brother, the sole executor. Personal estate £6,648 6s. 7d. 3
