In 1851 Oliver Trewren, aged 37, born in St. Blazey Cornwall, agent of a copper mine, and wife Grace Trewren, aged 39, born in Camborne Cornwall, were living in West Street, Liskeard, Cornwall. With them was son John Trewren (4) of St. Cleer.

Will of Oliver Oliver Trewren of the Parish of Liskeard in the County of Cornwall, Mining Captain, written 27 Jun 1855, proved 9 Oct 1856. 4
This is the last Will and Testament of me Oliver Oliver Trewren of Liskeard in the County of Cornwall, Mining Captain. I direct that all my just debts funeral and Testamentary Expenses shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter named. I give devise and bequeath all or that part of the real and personal Estate and Effects remaining undisposed of which I took under the Will of my late Father Joseph Trewren unto my Mother Mary Trewren her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns. I give devise and bequeath all the residue of my real and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of whatever description unto my Wife Grace Trewren and my brother John Trewren their Executors and Administrators Upon Trust to pay unto or otherwise permit and suffer my said Wife to enjoy the annual Income and proceeds thereof for her life but so that during any future coverture my said Trustees shall pay such Income and proceeds as the same shall become due and not by way of anticipation into her proper hands, and for her sole and separate use free from marital control, for which payments her receipts notwithstanding her coverture shall be sufficient discharges to my Trustees, but upon the express understanding that she provides for and educates my son John Clymo Trewren according to his position in life. And from and after her death I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son the said John Clymo Trewren his Heirs Executors and Assigns forever. And I hereby declare that in case my son the said John Clymo Trewren shall die under the age of twenty one years and without leaving lawful issue then I give devise and bequeath the same (except the plate and plated Articles hereinafter given to my brother John Trewren) unto my Mother the said Mary Trewren her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns but if she should be then dead I give devise and bequeath the same unto my two unmarried sisters Mary Martha Trewren and Christiana Trewren equally to be divided between them share and share alike as Tenants in common and not as joint tenants and if only one of my unmarried Sisters be living then the whole of such Estate to such survivor her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns. I give and bequeath unto my brother the said John Trewren in the event of the death of my son as aforesaid all my Plate and plated articles. And I hereby appoint my wife the said Grace Trewren and my brother the said John Trewren Executrix and Executor of this my Will revoking all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I the said Oliver Oliver Trewren the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this twenty seventh day of June One thousand eight hundred and fifty five.
