In 1881 Josiah Bennett, aged 37, born in Camborne Cornwall, minister Methodist Church, and wife Clara Ann E. Bennett, aged 38, born in London Middlesex, were living at 42 Albert Street, Bigby, Lincolnshire. Present were children Sarah F. (5) of Middlesbro' Yorkshire, scholar, Ethel (3) of Rochdale Lancashire, and Josiah H. (9 months) of Rochdale.
In 1901 Josiah Bennett, aged 57, born in Camborne Cornwall, widower, Minister of U M Free Churches, was at 28 Plymouth Avenue, South Manchester, Lancashire. With him were daughters Sarah Flo: (25) of Middlesborough Yorkshire, and Ethel (23) of Rochdale Lancashire.
