Her parentage and marriage are indicated by a charter dated 8 Oct 1271 which relates that Saarbrücken was the fief of the bishop of Metz, recording that "bone memorie Jacobus quondam Metensis episcopus" (son of Ferry II Duke of Lorraine) had enfeoffed "Lorettam relictam…neptem propriam"[158].

Laurette married Graf Simon III VON SAARBRÜCKEN, son of Graf Simon II VON SAARBRÜCKEN and Luitgarde VON LEININGEN. (Graf Simon III VON SAARBRÜCKEN died between 1235 and 1240.)
