At the time of the 1911 England Census Lilla Louise Swift, aged 36, born in Leckhampton Gloucestershire (mother of 1 child), assisting in business, and husband of 10 years Harold Gillaird Swift, aged 40, born in Liverpool Lancashire, private hotel keeper, were living in Cleese Hill, Woodmancote Gloucestershire. MRS. H. G. SWIFT
Chairman of Local Ladies' Club Dies

A large circle of friends will regret to hear of the death which occurred yesterday of Mrs. Lilla Louise Swift, wife of Mr. H. G. Swift, of the Lansdown Hotel, Cheltenham.

Mrs. Swift, who was 63 years of age, had been ill for a few weeks, but her death came rather suddenly.

Mr. and Mrs. Swift came to the Lansdown Hotel 18 years ago, and in the whole of that time have been most popular not only with their guests but also with the townspeople.

Mrs. Swift took a keen interest in many of the social affairs of the town, and was chairman of the Clarence Ladies' Club.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Statham.
