At the time of the 1891 England Census Marian Spackman, aged 24, born in Kensington London, single, living on her own means, was with Thomas & Caroline Delta at 15 Kent Terrace, St. Marylebone London. Note that Marian is called 'sister'. Thomas Delta married Caroline Phillips (daughter of George Thomas Phillips) in 1877. Presumably Caroline Phillips was Marian's half-sister from her mother's first marriage. Thomas Delta was a witness at Marian's marriage, and Marian named her eldest son Edward Delta Harding.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Marian Harding, aged 34, born in London, and husband Fredrick Harding, aged 34, born in London, auctioneer & surveyor, were living at 118 Barns Ct. Rd., Fulham London. With them were children (born in London) Edward (1) and Phyllis (4 months).

At the time of the 1911 England Census Marian Harding, aged 44, born in London (mother of 3 children), and husband of 12 years Fredrick Allcroft Harding, aged 44, born in London, auctioneer & valuer (own account), were living at 46 Albion Rd., Hampstead London. With them were children (born in London Middx) Phyllis Marian (10), and Fredk. Aubrey Leslie (8).

In March 1933 Marian Harding, widow, was granted Probate of her late husband's personal effects.

In the 1939 Register Marian Harding (b. 19 Jun 1866), widow, private means, was in Knole Park Estate, Almondsbury, Gloucestershire.
