At the time of the 1891 England Census Alice Weston, aged 21, born in Etchingham Sussex, general servant domestic, was at 66 Hy Church, St. Mary Magdalene, Sussex.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Alice Dann, aged 31, born in Etchingham Sussex, and husband William James Dann, aged 31, born in Saleshurst Sussex, domestic coachman, were living in The Woodlands Cottage, Ticehurst Sussex. With them was son Clarence Jabez (3) of Little Elford Essex.

In 1911 Alice Dann (41) of Etchingham and husband of 14 years William James Dann (41) of Salehurst, coachman, were living at 13 Norfolk Mews Norfolk Crescent Hyde Park, London with children: Clarence Jabez (13), Ethel Winifred (9), Edith Alice (7).

ETCHINGHAM.

THE LATE MRS. DANN.—The funeral took place at the Parish Church on Saturday of Mrs. Alice Dann, wife of Mr. William Dann, of Ealing, and fifth daughter of Mr. John Weston, of Rother View, Etchingham. The deceased, who died on the previous Wednesday, aged 60, leaves a widower, one son and two daughters to mourn their loss. The service was conducted by the Rector (the Rev. R. H. Markham), and the family mourners were: The Widower, Mr. Dann and the Misses Dann, Mrs. C. Dann, Miss Shiela Dann, Mr. and Mrs. G. Dann, Mr. John Weston (father), Mrs. J. Eastwood, Mr. and Mrs. T. Pilbeam, Mrs. J. Pipe, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weston, Miss S. Weston, Miss Dann (Battle), Mrs. E. Wells, Mr. and Mrs. W. Eastwood, Mrs. C. Relph and Mrs. Hyland, an old friend.
