FUNERAL OF MR. Z. WESTON.—On Saturday the funeral took place of Mr. Zechariah Weston, who had been a railway employee for 45 years. He was 76 years of age and leaves five daughters and two sons to mourn their loss. The interment was at Stonegate, where deceased's wife was buried. The mourners were: Mrs. George Eastwood, Mrs. A. Judge, Mrs. F. Marshall, and Miss M. Weston (daughters), Mr. Zechariah Weston and Mr. Richard Weston (sons), Mr. George Eastwood and Mr. F. Marshall (sons-in-law), Mr. Daniel Weston (brother), Miss Weston (sister), Mrs. E. Kemp, Mrs. E. Cheesmer and Mrs. R. Payne (sisters-in-law) and Mr. H. Weston (nephew). The hymns "Rock of Ages" and "The Sower went forth sowing" were sung.
